During the last year, many of us have lost relatives and loved ones to COVID-19. With everything going on in the world today, we have so much to be grateful for. Allah says, “Allah only wills for you ease and does not will for you difficulty, and to complete the term in order that you praise and glorify Allah in light of what He has guided you to, so that perhaps you will be grateful.” (Al Qur’an 2:285) We praise Him and glorify Him on this beautiful day of Eid ul Fitr, as it was intended for us to by the ease of fasting, so that we could arrive at an even higher station of gratitude by His permission. O Allah, just as you have spared us for this day, then spare us for days afterwards similar to them.Īll praise is for Allah. He has clothed us in its brightness and given us its favor. In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most MercifulĪllahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La Ilaha Illallah, Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, Wa Lilahil HamdĪllah praise is for Allah, though whom all righteous deeds are completed, and by His favor, all forms of good and blessings descend, and by His divine intervention, all goals are achieved.Īll praise is for Allah who has guided us to this, which we would not have found on our own, had He not guided us to it.Īll praise is for Allah who has taken away the darkness of the night by His power, and has brought about the light of the day, giving us sight, through His mercy.
